Who We Are?
As humans, beyond meeting the basic necessities of food, clothing, transportation and shelter, we also think. When thinking accumulates, it calls for expression. Thus, we use words, sounds, images, actions, and even silence to express our thoughts and feelings. And when these expressions accumulate, they become culture.
Fundamentally, every intelligent being has the potential to be a creator of culture and also to be a beneficiary of it; however, such beings are not necessarily its inheritors or transmitters, and some, knowingly or not, may even become its destroyers.
The destruction of any culture is not merely a loss in the present; it deprives future generations of the right to inherit it, to savor it, to choose among it, and to reflect upon it with the complete picture. In this sense, not only the active destroyers, but also the silent bystanders—and even every single person who benefits from a culture—are indeed culpable for the loss borne by our innocent descendants.
Granted, all phenomena in this world will eventually pass, and culture, as one such phenomenon, is no exception. Yet every fragment of wisdom-informed culture that nurtures life, if preserved even for one day longer, -may be enough to reach and nourish a parched mind.
Therefore, we believe it is our duty and responsibility as human beings to inherit and carry forward the wisdom we have received, to preserve and share it, so as to avoid falling into the trap of caring for nothing beyond mere survival.
We are those who choose this path. And we welcome you to join and walk with us, in whatever way you can.
